A table of everything that I currently use day-to-day working in tech1.
Item | Specs | Description | |
---|---|---|---|
💻 | MacBook Pro 2020 13-inch | 16GB RAM / 500GB / Intel i5 Quad-Core | My personal computer. Still holds up really well after 5 years. |
💻 | MacBook Pro 2023 16-inch | 36GB RAM / 500GB / Apple M3 Pro Chip | My primary work device that I use for my day-job as a software developer. Absolute workshorse, haven't once heard the fans turn on despite the many times I've left several Docker containers running over the weekend. |
🖥️ | BenQ 24-Inch FHD Eye-Care IPS LED Monitor | 23.8 inches / 1080p | My current monitor of choice. Resolution is OK, but a really solid, affordable choice. |
🐁 | Logitech MX Anywhere 3S | Bluetooth / Rechargeable via USB-C | Take this with me whenever I'm travelling because of its small form factor. |
🐁 | Logitech Lift | Bluetooth / USB receiver / Battery powered | An ergonomic mouse I bought based on a friend's recommendation which has been very comfortable to use. |
⌨️ | Logitech Wave Keys | Bluetooth / USB receiver / Battery powered | Full size keyboard with a comfortable ergonomic design. Reminds of the keyboards I used in primary school so bonus points for nostalgia. |
⌨️ | Keychron K3 | Bluetooth / Rechargeable via USB-C | First mechanical keyboard I ever bought. Love the clickiness of this one, got it with the brown tactile switches (not that I really know what that means). Bluetooth switching isn't the best compared to Logitech. I'll often switch between this and the Wave keyboard. |
1Disclaimer: Yes, I do love Logitech. Their bluetooth functionality for switching between devices (specifically on keyboards) is second to none. That being said my opinions are all my own.
